Mikkelin auto- ja konealan ammattiosasto ry is a non-profit professional association — an ammattiosasto ry registered in Finland under registration number 17780955. We unite, represent and advance the skilled women and men working in the automotive and machinery trades: mechanics, technicians, service advisers, machine operators and apprentices. Our work is simple in purpose and serious in practice: safer workplaces, stronger skills, fair treatment, and a community that never leaves a colleague to face a difficulty alone.

Who we are
A trade association built by workers, for workers
The association was formed by automotive and machinery professionals who understood that individual skill is not enough on its own. A technician can be excellent and still be exposed to unsafe lifting equipment, unclear overtime practice or a training gap that closes doors later in a career. Collective organisation answers what individual effort cannot.
Today Mikkelin auto- ja konealan ammattiosasto ry operates as a registered non-profit association under Finnish association law, with a documented constitution, an elected executive board, annual general meetings open to all members, and audited financial reporting. Membership is open to workers, apprentices and retired professionals of the automotive and machinery sectors across Finland. The association is administered from its registered office at Itämerenkatu 21, 00180 Helsinki, Finland.
